Contropendenze
Festival
This project, created for the small town of Cropalati as part of the Contropendenze Festival, transformed a simple mural into an interactive piece designed to actively involve the community, especially local children.
The stone arches, part of a historic structure in the village, were reimagined through the use of two-dimensional elements and colors, creating a space that evokes familiar, lived-in environments. The shapes and objects drawn on the walls suggest domestic and familiar items, such as chairs, windows, and shelves, which transform the arches into symbolic "rooms."
The goal was to breathe new life into a public space, making it a place of play and interaction for children, who bring these painted spaces to life with their imagination. In this way, the project becomes a shared and participatory experience, where urban art merges with the history and daily life of the community, creating a work that goes beyond mere decoration to become a space of connection and dialogue.
